FAI Umbro Youth Challenge Cup
This U18 club competition was won in 2008/'09 by Cork City, who defeated Salthill Devon 2-1 in the final. The 2009/'10 final will take place on Sunday, May 23.

FAI Umbro Youth and U17 Cup entries invited

The FAI have distributed the entry forms for the FAI Umbro Youth and U17 Cup competitions for the 2010/2011 season.


The forms have been sent to the secretaries of the leagues throughout the country.


Club secretaries are urged to complete the forms and return them to the FAI as soon as possible.


Clubs can also request an entry form directly from the FAI. Applications should be made to the Domestic Football Department.

 

Fairview Rangers claim FAI Umbro Youth title

Limerick's Fairview Rangers are the 2009/2010 FAI Umbro Youth Cup champions after a dramatic 1-0 victory over Galway's Mervue United at a sun drenched final at Jackman Park in Limerick. Substitute, Shane Power was Fairview's hero as he struck a magnificent volley after 77 minutes which proved to be the difference between the sides.
