The annual Women's FAI UMBRO Gaynor Cup competitions bring representative teams together to compete in three different age categories. The tournaments provide the Republic of Ireland international team managers with an opportunity to identify potential members of Ireland's international teams.

Leinster North claimed the Under-18 Umbro Gaynor Cup at the weekend, claiming the trophy on goal difference ahead of Connaught.

North Leinster win 2009 Gaynor Cup

The 2009 Gaynor Cup results are in after a busy weekend of competition which took place in the Universtity Limerick. The Under 13 trophy was won by a deserving Connaught while Munster South went home with the Under 15 trophy. North Leinster fought off stiff competition to win the Under 17 Gaynor Cup.
