In football, everyone should feel safe. Strict safeguarding policies are in place along with mandatory Garda Vetting and Safeguarding training for all coaches and volunteers.
There are no grey areas when it comes to proper conduct and acceptable behaviour. If it makes you feel uncomfortable, report it.
It is crucial to thoroughly investigate all complaints, concerns, and allegations, with the primary focus on ensuring the well-being of the child or vulnerable adult.
The FAI Child Welfare & Safeguarding Department can help with safeguarding concerns or allegations.

An independent service is available, through Raiseaconcern, for anyone within Irish football who wishes to report issues related to abuse or inappropriate/unlawful behaviours of parties associated with the Football Association of Ireland (‘FAI’)
For all other complaints or concerns, please ensure you have considered all necessary stages set out in the above concern-complaint procedure prior to making a report to Raiseaconcern.
