Interview: Limerick District League - Manager John Lysaght
"We're really buzzing for the final on Sunday and it's been a great campaign. The squad is majorly comprised from Pike Rovers, Regional and Aisling Annacotty but we also had two players from Palllas United and to see them come together for these matches has been brilliant.
"It's been a tough run to the final straight from the first match against Clare who were taking it fairly serious of course and a team which have played a long time together so great to come out with a win and then Kerry in the second game who we lost against last year. We faced Waterford in the regional final and the lads were buzzing to win the Munster before we went on to face Kilkenny. It has a horrible day but got through it and showed some great character before facing Mayo, in the semi-final. We scored two quick goals, fairly fortunate to do so and Mayo were great on the ball but our lads saw it out and deserved the win.
"We've got home advantage and so we need to make full use of it. It's great and hopefully we can draw in a big crowd. We've got a great group and management staff and we've always said from the start that we're just going to enjoy it. Our job is made fairly easy as it is a dressing room of leaders and they would be fairly confident that we can get a result on Sunday."
Interview: Wexford Football League - Manager Willie Peare
"The group I put together is a good group, a strong group of players and as its after showing in the run up to the final and the results that we're after having. We're happy with the outcome so far and hopefully we can go that one step further on Sunday.
"There are quality players in the county and you try and get everyone in but with the selection of 18 players, players are going to miss out. It is always a headache and the way it is improving at under-age level, it's great for football in the county.
"I'm just concentrating on my own team and what way I want them to play, it's different at club level of course as you might be able to do plenty of research but it's slightly different with the representative sides. Hopefully, on the day, we can spot things as the game goes on and tweak if needed.
"I think travelling to Limerick will give it that cup final feeling. We've travelled to a number of our games on the run-in to the final and it is nice to get that away fixture, that bond on the bus and give it that special feeling. We're travelling all together and it gives it that focus.
"You've got to be confident, we're not going down there if we don't fancy ourselves. Limerick are a good strong team in an all-Ireland final but on a final day, it could go either way so we're really looking forward to it."
