It was a brilliant opportunity to continue to give the young players minutes in a green shirt as U15 Head Coach Jason Donohue looked to use the vast majority of players at his disposal with Maxim Afonin named as captain.
Ireland U15s had an impressive result against Hungary U15s last time out with a 2-1 victory and were looking to build on the positives against our near neighbours on Saturday.
It was two second-half goals which helped secure the draw as Archie Quinn hit the net in the 58th minute before Blake Lynch Devereux who started, came off and then came back on again in the 80th minute, netted just four minutes later to complete the scoring.
