Goals in either side saw the Danes complete two wins over Ireland in what was a challenging test for Colin O’Brien’s team in Spain.
Ireland had started the brighter with Ramon Martos forcing a save from Otto Lyhne in the eight minute after being allowed an opportunity to get a shot off in the penalty area.
At that point it was all Ireland but Denmark managed to drag their way back in with Oscar Mandrup forcing a chance that went just wide and another shortly after when he disposed Ali Topcu but the Irish goalkeeper getting back to make the save.
The Danish opener came on 38 minutes when Malik Pingpong rounded the goalkeeper before applying the finish.
At half-time O’Brien introduced Michael Noonan and Brody Lee. Noonan almost scored just inside the second half but saw his effort go over the bar.
Denmark doubled their lead in 69th minute through Sander Larsen who was on the end of a good cross and finish.
A raft of changes were made as Ireland looked for a way back in but Denmark were able to see out the game.
