Over 5,500 tickets have already been sold for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup Qualifier, which surpasses the existing record attendance of 5,238 achieved in Vera Pauw's first game against Ukraine in October 2019.
Now, Pauw's squad are hoping that the Ireland supporters will turn out in force and provide the special atmosphere that the players believe gives them an extra edge in big games.
Tickets start at €10 for each of the World Cup qualifiers - Slovakia (Thursday, November 25) and Georgia (Tuesday, November 30) - while a special DUO Package is also on offer via Ticketmaster.ie
The WNT have played 24 international games at Tallaght Stadium since 2011, with a combined total attendance of 49,687. So history could be set this week by breaking the 50,000 mark and also setting a new individual game attendance record.
Supporters are encouraged to secure their tickets now and remember to follow the recommended COVID-19 protocols when attending the games.
